The United Nations Association of Bulgaria is an organization that has been working for the public benefit for dozens of years. It was founded in 1948 to support Bulgaria's membership in the United Nations, which became a fact in 1955. The UNA of Bulgaria is a member of the World Federation of the United Nations Associations (WFUNA) along with over 100 other national associations. The members of the organization consist of active citizens, career diplomats, university professors and youth, mainly students.

The strategically developed programs include "Civic Education in the Spirit of the UN", "Bulgarian Youth Delegate to the UN Program", and "Information and Publicity Program".
